Both thighs were shredded down to the warp, so what remains across each opening is a ladder of pale cotton threads still spanning the gap. Nothing behind them, nothing covering them. The pair is see-through where it's torn.
Every rip is bordered top and bottom in a dense band of crystal and silver bead, which frames the shredding the way a setting frames a stone. Between the bands, loose starburst clusters scatter down the outer leg. Both front pockets and both back pockets are trimmed in the same beading.
The back is otherwise left plain. All of the work is where you'd see it walking toward someone.
