Gucci denim with silver paisley was bleached down to bone before a single stone went on.
The motifs are damask and paisley, worked in silver crystal and metallic bead, scaled large at the hem and shrinking as they climb the leg. One sits alone on the back right pocket. There is no pearl in this pair. It is all silver and glass, which is why it reads cold against the warm cream of the bleach.
The indigo was left heaviest from the knee down, so the beadwork at the hem sits on the darkest ground and catches the most light.
